There were good reasons for it to be introduced.

Punishment without trial where I'm treated like a common murderer for my efforts. I'd say ~~I've tolerated~~ this has gone on long enough.

House arrest. Which is not the treatment a murderer would be dealt.

And on that note, messing with the minds of my officers is hardly going to make me amendable to ending your house arrest.
