[Action Only: CLOSED]
[Leaving Cassian alone in his home at such an early stage of his 'service' was unthinkable. But so was taking him too close to the City where potential allies resided.
This test was far more acceptable. A small outing by moonlight where conditions were always in the vampire's favor. It was time to see how Cassian behaved on a longer leash...
Shoving his hands deeply into the pockets of his long black coat, he sauntered out of the thick growth of trees lining the beach. It was dark, yes. But the moon hung brightly in the blackened sky, illuminating the beach below.]
I wouldn't dawdle in the woods if I were you. There are things out there that I'm sure you'd find... unpleasant.
[The Pureblood stared out at the rolling water, not even questioning whether Cassian was obeying his directive. There was nowhere he could go and nothing he could do to escape the debt he owed Rido. If he were smart, he'd have learned that by now.]
Come. I want to walk near the water...

He didn't mind following Rido along the beach, it was a nice change of scenery.
He had long since stopped fighting or resisting, he didn't want to admit it, but, he'd become a little resigned to his fate with the vampire. Certainly considering the new 'changes' he had gone through.]

--and then the next, there was sand beneath his shoes. It must be a curse, but it was still unsettling.
He didn't notice two other figures immediately, until he turned and saw one that he would be able to place anywhere.] ...Cassian!

Apparently, this man had skills to be wary of...
Arching an eyebrow, he shot his companion a disapproving look.]

[Jezebel reaches out to grab Cassian's arm, but whatever words he was about to say are cut short by the shock of feeling cold skin under his fingers]

Been out here a while, wind from the ocean is kind of cold...
[That sounded weak even in his own head.]

You...you're-
[which quickly shifts to rage as he looks at the vampire standing nearby and the pieces click together.]
You!
[Jezebel lunges towards Rido, hand diving for a knife in his pocket]

[Cassian rushes forward, catching up with Jezebel's arm enough to pull him back a little so that Cassian can move between the vampire and the doctor. His arms spread wide to act as a shield, Cassian gives Jezebel a pleading look.]
Please...don't do this.
Do we have an order for these tags...?
Not right now. Right now it's just Cassian Vs. Jezebel. |'D
I know...I know he did, but you can't attack him. I won't let you do it, nothing'll come of it except your death. Do you think I want that?!

[A small warning about talking too much.
Tilting his head, he looks over at Jez and gives him an unconcerned smile.]
I know your voice~. But I don't believe I got your name...

[Quickly, he snatch's the chloroform rag he knows is in the doctor's pocket and wraps his arms around the other man, holding the rag to his nose and mouth.]
I'm sorry...

[The vampire quirked his head and watched the man's body go limp and lifeless in Cassian's arms.
After a few moments, he gave a small shrug and turned his attention back to the ebb and flow of the water on the beach and took steps to depart.]
Leave him.

I won't just leave him here. At least let me take him somewhere covered. You can follow if you're so worried about me running away.

[Letting his eyes drift shut, he takes a deep breath, enjoying the night air.]
You can take him to the edge of the woods. Don't leave me waiting long.
[It was never wise to leave a Pureblood waiting.]

[If it hadn't been the forest, he would have said no. Carefully he picked Jezebel up and headed off to the forest. After all, he really didn't have anywhere to go. Not like this.
He returned a bit later, the doctor no longer with him.]
There. Can we finish this walk now?
I'd like to respond around here. I'm just at work. >.>
